hi folks the screencast is to show us how we can find our student textbooks via the Google Drive so what you want to do is if you are on a Chromebook a laptop or stop you want to log into the computer using your Hemet USD credentials whether your teacher or student once you get onto your computer and you open up a web page you will notice that you have a lot of bookmarks up here you're going to find the husd bookmarks you're going to open it and scroll all the way down to the bottom where there are textbooks for a t k through 5th grade students 64628 and textbooks for our find 312 I'm going to click on the 9th or 12th so what pops up is a shared Google folder with subfolders and the folders within the hive text books are divided up by content areas and so what you would do is if I was a student or teacher for read 180 stage C I would click on that folder and it will bring up all of the students real book which is their Student Book the real book all of their workshops for instance the first Workshop is at first sight so big if I am a teacher and I want to assign the students to after we watched a video to do some reflection I would say after the video go to page 27 in your real book and the students can't download it if they want to and write it take me to download and write their answers and take a pic submit it they could also respond in a Google Document and coming soon we will have the Kami add-on which then students can actually annotate write on the PDF itself but until then those are what we have available and that is how we access our student textbooks via the Google Drive
