Understanding MAP Scores

Please reference the attachment below (AnnotatedReports-MAP_0) to get a better understanding of the reports that MAP provides. On Pages 10 and 12 is where you will find info regarding the types of reports we have listed under "MAP Scores" in the links to the right that contain information specific to RVMS. It is important to understand the data before processing it.

Also, please reference the attachment (2015 MAP Normative Data AUG 15) that shows what the national average scores are. This will give you an idea of what the current academic deficits are that our students face.

Lastly, please reference the attachment (Quick Guide to MAP) that provides a quick and succinct overview of what MAP is and how you can expect your students to grow each year.
